Riverstone Lodge is at 222 Te Rangitautahanga Road in Turangi, a quiet neighbourhood within walking distance of the town centre, shops and cafes - and right on the doorstep of Tongariro National Park.
Lake Taupo is on the doorstep and Taupo itself is about 40 km away, while Taupo Airport is roughly 44 km from the lodge. Nearby places to eat include Tokaanu Turangi R.S.A. around 300 m away, Hong Kong Chinese Takeaways around 450 m away and Golden Crust around 500 m away. Guests regularly tell us how much they enjoy simply walking around the neighbourhood.
Getting here
Turangi sits on State Highway 1 at the southern end of Lake Taupo, about 40 km from Taupo and roughly 4 hours by road from Auckland or 5 hours from Wellington. Free private parking is available on site, and a shuttle service can be arranged at an additional charge. Please let us know your expected arrival time in advance.
